Today was the last day we could spend with our host families.
I went shopping with my host family in the morning. There was a member buying snacks and some members buying sweatsuits with the Ohio logo.
Before leaving the house, my host family gave me a carnation pattern T-shirt and paper bags full of snacks. I was very happy!
In the afternoon, there was a farewell party where the host families of all participating members got together. We enjoyed our last time talking to our host families while eating fruit and chips. Some members were crying at the moment of saying goodbye.
We are moving to Chicago tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to it!!
