Today, our Global Issues class trip to Hawaii started. This trip is the culmination of our studies.
After arriving in Hawaii, we were taken on a bus tour of O’ahu by a guide. First, we went to the Kakaako Farmers Market. It was bustling with many people and we enjoyed it very much. We also Nu’uanu Pali, King Kamehameha’s statue, the Punchbowl, and saw some amazing wall art in the Kakaoka area.
In the afternoon, we had free time to walk around the hotel. There were many shopping malls and restaurants. It felt great to be surrounded by the very beautiful ocean.
We are looking forward to spending four fulfilling days here. (高2 GI)
