Our 11th grade Global Issues students have just completed their Term 3 Creative Projects.
In Global Issues, we believe that solving real-world problems requires more than knowledge. It requires creativity. Whether addressing climate change, inequality, conflict, or sustainability, meaningful solutions begin with the ability to think differently, see connections, and imagine better futures.
This term, our students expressed their learning through creative projects of their own design. Their projects reflect not only deep research and thoughtful analysis, but also originality, passion, and a willingness to take intellectual risks. Creativity is not separate from problem-solving — it is at its heart.
We are incredibly proud of their effort, growth, and initiative.
Because Global Issues is not just about studying the world.
It is about preparing young women to shape it.

高校2年生の「グローバル・イシュー」の生徒たちが、3学期のクリエイティブ・プロジェクトを完遂しました。
「グローバル・イシュー」の授業において、私たちは、現実世界の諸問題を解決するために必要なのは単なる知識だけではないと考えています。そこに不可欠なのは「創造性」です。気候変動、不平等、紛争、あるいは持続可能性。どのような課題であれ、意義ある解決策は、既存の枠にとらわれずに考え、物事のつながりを見出し、より良い未来を想像する力から生まれるのです。
今学期、生徒たちは自ら企画・設計したクリエイティブ・プロジェクトを通じて、それぞれの学びを表現しました。彼女たちの作品には、深いリサーチと思慮深い分析はもちろんのこと、独創性や情熱、そして知的なリスクを恐れない姿勢が反映されています。創造性は問題解決から切り離されたものではありません。むしろ、その核心にあるものなのです。
私たちは、生徒たちの努力、成長、そして主体的な取り組みを心から誇りに感じています。
なぜなら、「グローバル・イシュー」とは単に世界について学ぶ場ではないからです。それは、若い女性たちが自らの手で世界を形作っていくための準備を整える場なのです。
