The Stanford University Scholars Program for Japanese High School Students or “Stanford e-Japan” is a distance-learning course sponsored by the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE) enrolls exceptional high school students from Japan to engage in an intensive study of U.S. society and culture.

Jogakuin students have taken part in this very special program for 4 years. Students in this program have to do many assignments. For their final project they write about a topic which is published in this anthology. Students also receive this certificate after they finish.
